Baptism
Blessings to Landen Holmes Liles, infant son of Pr. Joe & Jessica Liles, as we celebrate his Holy Baptism today at Christ the King. Blessings to you as you begin your faith journey!!
Souper Bowl of Caring
On Sunday, February 5th, 140 million Americans will tune in to watch the Super Bowl football game. There will be parties with abundant food, friendship & fellowship. At the same time, there will be people worrying about staying warm, finding shelter and a warm meal. Please help our youth as they join with other young people around the country to collect money for those who are hungry and hurting. Our kids will be holding out the soup pots after worship on Feb. 5th to collect money for the Souper Bowl of Caring. Donations will be targeted 50/50 toward Hope Food Bank (who helps supply our Food Pantry & Feast of Grace) and Feed My Starving Children's Mobile Pack Event in Northwest Arkansas, the "One Million Meals Marathon." Please support our youth in this effort to love our neighbors!
The road to New Orleans is paved in... RED!
IMAGINE the palpable power of the Holy Spirit where more than 35,000 Lutheran Youth are gathered in one place! This July, some of our youth will have the opportunity to experience it first-hand, at the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans. But the trip isn’t free, so we need your help. In Chinese and Asian societies, a red envelope is a monetary gift which is given during holidays or special occasions, making the Chinese New Year (January 23rd) the perfect occasion to kick off a “Red Envelope” fundraiser for our Youth Gathering team! This fundraiser will run through Valentine’s Day.

Share the Love on Feb. 12th!
May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else. - 1 Thes. 3:12 Sometimes, the business of our daily lives causes us to take our family and friends for granted. On Feb. 12th, we will "Celebrate God's Love" as a reminder that we should cherish those closest to us and acknowledge with love the important role they play in our lives. 'IMAGINE’... inviting a beloved friend, relative, or neighbor to church with you on Sunday, February 12th! What better time to share God's love than the week of Valentine's Day!

(Choose MobilePack, then scroll down to the Arkansas list and click "Get Involved" next to the NW AR Event.) Hope to see you there!
Via de Cristo, the way of Christ
Via de Cristo is a lay-led movement centered in the Christian faith. For many, the VDC weekend is a time to reset, reflect and renew. The experience itself is unique to each individual, and it’s difficult to say what your VDC weekend will accomplish in you. If you feel drawn, pray about it - then consider seeking out a CtK member who’s been. Weekend #28 is scheduled for March 22- 25th in Oklahoma City, and registration forms are available!
