Angel Food

The retail value of each box of food is over $55.00. The purchaser pays $30.00. Orders are placed and paid in advance on specified days generally at the end of each month (check the menu for exact dates). There is also someone available to accept your order on order pick up days. Pickup is generally the second Saturday of each month. The date is specified on the menu and you can also click on the Angel Food Schedule link to the right. Payment is made when the order is placed. Payment can be made in cash, money order or food stamps. Sorry, but we cannot accept orders to be paid for at a later date, online orders, or phone in orders. You will receive a receipt when you place and pay for your order. You will need to bring that receipt back on order pickup day, along with a large box or a cooler to receive your order. No application is required, there are no qualifications and no limit on quantities purchased.

Angel Food Ministries, a non-profit, non-denominational organization, began in 1994 as a small outreach ministry serving a rural community in Georgia. The goal was to help neighbors who needed a hand up in a tough economic time. Today, Angel Food Ministries can be found in over 3,200 communities in 35 states and helps feed over 500,000 families a month. Christ the King Lutheran Church (ELCA) of Bentonville is an approved Host Site for distribution of the Angel Food Outreach Program.
